Rayito de Sol is NAEYC accredited!

What is the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and what is NAEYC accreditation?

Established in 1926, the National Association for the Education of Young Children is a professional organization with a mission to continually promote the components of quality in programs for young children. Based in Washington, D.C., NAEYC is our country’s premier professional association for the educators of young children and the programs that serve them. In 1985, NAEYC launched its accreditation system to set professional standards for early childhood programs and to help families identify high-quality programs.

NAEYC accreditation ensures that the program has met and maintains the highest national standards for safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate, educationally enriched learning programs.

NAEYC program standards are based on the latest research  in early childhood education and development.

Less than nine percent of all programs nationwide have achieved NAEYC accreditation!
